Thanks for your interest and for being a part of my journey!

I originally created SALTDROP when  needed super-soft, light-weight blankets and towels for my family's active lifestyle in San Diego, California. I was lugging heavy, bulky bags of these essentials with 3 toddlers in tow. I wanted items that we could easily take with us to the beach, on hikes, for picnics, and all our weekend adventures. 

Two of my children suffer from a multitude of allergies and eczema, and finding Organic and Oeko-Tex certified cotton was imperative to me. We had researched and seen multiple specialists and understood the importance of these safe, breathable fabrics. We needed items made of durable, natural, breathable fibers that we could use on a daily basis at home and on the go. After deep-diving research, I fell in love with Turkish Cotton textiles and all their qualities! I needed eco-friendly, high-quality, versatility, and packability...and these Turkish cotton blankets and towels are the perfect answer.
