Turkish Cotton is known for its longer fibers, compared to standard cotton. The longer the fiber, the fewer edges it will have when it’s woven into a fabric. As a result, these special fibers produce stronger, plusher, and softer fabrics. For those with sensitive skin, this is important, because less fiber joints means less irritation.

Our towels are also SAND-RESISTANT and FAST-DRYING because of the longer fibers and the style of weave.

Unlike other Turkish-style textiles, our blankets and towels are authentically loomed in Turkey with real, premium Turkish cotton!

For those suffering with Eczema or Psoriasis, you need breathable, soft, non-irritating fabric against your sensitive skin. Specifically, Organic, OEKO-TEX®, 100% cotton is the ideal fabric!

National Eczema Association article states “...Fabrics [with] an OEKO-TEX label...certifies that they are free of harmful and potential allergenic chemicals. These are harder to find, but are optimal...It is best to choose organic cotton, whenever possible...100% organic cotton clothing is less likely to contain some potential allergens in clothing."

WebMD also states in their article, "Avoid Synthetic Clothes...that trap heat, make you sweat, or... that scratch your skin and cause irritation. Pick breathable fabrics. Choose clothes made from cotton...that allows your skin to breathe [and] can also absorb sweat.

National Psoriasis Foundation states, "To manage psoriasis itching, wear base layer of cotton or avoid wool/synthetic clothing. Loose cotton/linen fabrics wick away sweat."

Our products have been rigorously tested for numerous regulated and non-regulated substances, which may be harmful to human health. In many cases, the limit values for the STANDARD 100 go beyond national and international requirements. In short, our products are SAFE and free from toxic chemicals!

YES! Ideally, you would wash separately with cold or warm water on the delicate/gentle cycle and hang to dry.

BUT, we know that life is busy, so you can wash with other towels and similarly soft cotton items on the gentle cycle. Avoid items with zippers and other accessories that might pull on the fabric threads. You may also use the dryer on the low heat, delicate setting.
